I think what my powerpoint was missing to make it better is more visual appeal. The grey backgroung was not that great it could have been more vibrant. Also, there could have been a different font. For a game show that was about little kids movies, it could have been a little more exciting.

Non computer technologies I would use are different lights around the classroom. I think that that makes it more exciting and the classroom a lot brighter. I would also inclue the projector that would aide in allowing there to be more information for the students.

I loved learning about how to make a little jeopardy game on slide show. I will probably use this more often to make things for my friends, and for when I am a teacher. This is a great skill to know for when it comes time to help students learn new material, or even study for a test. It engages kids because it is something different then paper pencil and a book.

I think the biggest advantage of using presentation software, is that students who are visual learned will gain so much more knowledge. It also makes it easy for a teacher to put together a lesson, and she wont forget most of the material she has to cover. The disadvantage is resorting always to using powerpoint. It is not the most creative way of producing information to students, and many teachers now a days are only using powerpoint to teach lessons.

I would use powerpoint to support student learning by including a lot of graphic and visual material for those who are visual learners. I will use colors, and many fonts so they can pick out the informtaion individually. I will include a lot of noise and videos for those who are auditory learns. Also, listening to me talk they will be able to learn that way.

There are not enough computres for many schools and this is limiting students abilities to resources. Many students who do not have computers at home and come to school to use the computers are not even given that chance because they dont have computers at school. More money needs to be put into purchasing technologies for classrooms.

I believe that using Web 2.0 for K-12 education is very benefital for the students. It allows for them to have very hands on experiences with technology. There are very goodprograms and softwares that are associated with it that can help students with several aspects. Pretty much anything can be taught using Web 2.0.

I think using wikipidea is a very unrealiable source. Like they say "anyone can publish on wikipidea" a lot of the information in wikipidea is very true, reliable, and many sources used on wikipidea are very excellet. But that is not to say that most information is false. As a form of research, it should not be accepeted.

I think learning all the different effects on slide show will be effective. As a teacher you have to always constaly engage your students and learning these effects would do so. For example, how to make a clip art object move acrosss the screen is a good thing to learn because like that you can do little things to keep the students interested.
